Topic: General Cranberry Slush and Kookaburra Power
12:39am CDT, 5 Apr 2009

I was driving home from Colorado Springs after I had done a bit of shopping, I was thirsty and passed a Sonic and decided to get a Cranberry Slush, which I love even though they give me a brain freeze every time. When I walked into my sister Laurie's house she asked me what I had down the front of my ivory cotton sweater. You guesses it my cup had leaked and I now had a lovely cranberry stain right in the middle of my sweater. Did I panic? No, well maybe a little I love that sweater. I went straight into my sisters kitchen grabbed a bottle of Kookaburra Power mixed in a spray bottle with water and sprayed it on the stain, I scrubbed the stain with a kitchen sponge. I then rinsed it in cool water and proceeded to do that 2 more time until I pretty much had the stain out. After that I filled the bathroom sink up with cold water and soaked my sweater for about 30 minutes with Kookaburra Wash. I rinsed the sweater and the stain was completely gone. True story! Just one more reason my sisters and I bought the Kookaburra product line. The stuff really works.

I never would have imagined I would feel passionate about cleaning products. But here I sit, in a cold office in December in Colorado, typing away about my newfound love of Kookaburra products. The very fact that I would turn my life upside-down and run a business with my two sisters half way across the country, commuting back and forth from my home in the Seattle area to the company's home near Colorado Springs, is still a shock to me. And to top it off, my husband is in the Navy, currently stationed in Bahrain. And the last time I checked Colorado had never heard of the ocean before. The odds of us ever being stationed here together are unfortunately non-existent. So then, why would I choose this life? One reason: I truly believe we have found a superior product! It’s safe and natural, and the best part is it actually works!

I’ve never blogged before so this is new to me as well. I’ve also never written a website before or helped design labels for a product. But I didn't do this alone. I have a great support system with my two sisters, Beth and Laurie, who run the company alongside me. And we have a highly skilled graphic designers and a web writer teaching us and guiding us in this new adventure. So to both Bruce and Cori we would like to say thank you, publicly, for all of your hard work. You’re the best and we appreciate all that you have done and how willing you have been to teach and guide us through this process.

I am hoping that through this blog page you will feel like you have a place to ask questions about the products and tell us how you use Kookaburra. We love to hear from our customers! My sisters and I hope to be able to share a little about ourselves and why we got involved with this fabulous product line.

But first, we would like to welcome you to the Kookaburra Family!
